How to make chicken with okra and select vegetables

Start by preparing the okra: Wash, dry well and cut it into thin slices. In an oil -free skillet, sauté the okra over medium heat until it loses the drool. Reserve. To prepare the chicken: season it with lemon, salt and black pepper. Let it marinate for about 30 minutes. Heat a large pan with the oil and brown the chicken pieces on all sides. Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside. In the same pan, add onion and garlic and sauté until golden. Add the paprika (if desired) and mix well. Add the chopped tomatoes and cook until a sauce. Put the chicken back in the pan, add the hot water and cover. Let it cook over medium heat for about 20 to 30 minutes, or until the chicken is very soft. When the chicken is almost ready, add the braised okra and mix gently. Let it cook for another 5 minutes for the flavors to mix. Add the vegetable selection I want (without water) and stir gently to incorporate. Finish with the chopped green smell.

Ingredients

  • 1 kg of chicken (thigh, overcox or breast, cut into pieces)
  • 500g of okra
  • 1 minced medium onion
  • 3 chopped garlic cloves
  • 1 lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons of oil or olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon of paprika (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon of black pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 box of vegetable select
  • 2 chopped ripe tomatoes (or 1 can of naked tomatoes)
  • Smelling smell chopped to taste
  • 1 cup of hot water
